montecristo

Good news, The Count of montecristo came out of retirement seasonal. Until I am confident in my ability to be always reliable for COMCO read-a-long, rather than stuck unceremoniously a few months ago, I intend to send bi-weekly discussion.
Chapter 31 begins by introducing the reader to two very young, the rich young man: the Baron Franz d’Epinay and Viscount Albert de Morcerf. During his visit to Rome from Paris, Franz suddenly decides he would like to visit the birthplace of Napoleon, to visit the island of Elba. So with the help of some sailors, it is proposed to jump from island to island and hunting. At the suggestion of Captain Franz, they sailed to the island of montecristo, which is in walking distance strangely beautiful and intriguing. They decide to steer the boat to montecristo, even after they realize that the bandits may be present: the fire was lit on the ground and smoke is billowing.
There is much discussion of a fairy yacht, adorned with riches beyond imagination. Not to discourage potential danger (except maybe Franz, a little “wimp), the group decided to go to the mysterious island of Montecristo. Franz, apparently, was invited to join the group of rebels fleeing for a meal.
